I haven't received the gloves yet, so I can't rate their usefullness. However, when I ordered the gloves, it clearly stated that shipping and handling was $6.95, but when I checked out the S&H charged was $13.90. This is outrageous and I would not have ordered the gloves had I been told the real S&H. When I called to protest, I couldn't talk to a live person, only leave a message.
